FirstHand FirstAid has been in business since 2010. We currently serve the Kerrobert, Luseland, Major, Coleville, Kindersely, Unity, Plenty, and Macklin Areas.
We train with the Canadian Red Cross ILCOR standards and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Our Owner/Operator offers ten years of EMS experience as well as Emergency Management experience.
Please Note: as per The Canadian Red Cross request, we do require at least 4 individuals to do a private course. If a course that is scheduled for the public by FirstHand FirstAid does not have the minimum of 4 people registered, the course will be cancelled 72 hours prior to course start.
We specialize in all kinds of first aid, advanced first aid and CPR training.
We currently offer:
- Standard First Aid Level C CPR\AED (14 -16 hour training, 2 day)
- Blended First Aid Training (Partial Online) (All Theory online, 8 hour hands on in class training, 1 day)
- Emergency First Aid Level C CPR/AED (8 hour training, 1 day)
- Standard Childcare First Aid Level B CPR/AED (14-16 hour training, 2 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Formerly Health Care Provider (HCP) (4-6 hour training, 1 day)
- Medical First Responder Training (40 hour training)
- Emergency Medical Responder Training (80 Hour Training)
- Babysitting and Youth Leader Training (6-8 hours, 1 day)
- Psychological First Aid Training (12-14 hour training, 2 days)
- All Recertification Courses (8 hours,1 day)

*Please know that recertification courses are only allowed to those who still have current and valid cards. All expired cards will not be accepted. No Exceptions.
We currently have Teaching Experience Supervisors on staff to complete co-teaches.
We are committed to giving you the best price as well as accommodating you and your employees. We will work with your individual needs to ensure the maximum success for a class. We have worked with many language barriers as well as hearing and learning impaired.
We collaborate many methods of teaching including interactive training such as group work, as well as hands on training. We take pride in our courses; they are developed to ensure they keep all audiences interested. (Boredom is not on our curriculum!)
All registrants will be asked for a valid email as all cards are digital and will be emailed. All participant manuals will be offered digitally as well.

Our Courses start at 8:30 am and run to 4:30 pm. We break approximately 45 minutes for lunch.
Any participant more than 30 minutes late will not be allowed to enter the class.
Online Courses
In addition to the blended learning, We are pleased to be offering online training for certain courses. We offer WHMIS with GHS training (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems, Global Harmonized Systems) and TDG training (Transporting Dangerous Goods).
To register in one of these courses continue on to the registration page and register for the course. An email will Be send stating instructions on how to access.

Cancellation and Payment Policy
Full payment is required upon booking or your spot cannot be held. If you need to cancel, 48 hours notice is required for a full refund. Refunds will be determined as per circumstance after that.
We accept cash and paypal method payments as well as email money transfers. We regret we do not accept checks. We offer student rates, please contact for more information.
Please ensure you bring indoor shoes to the course.
